Lars Windhorst Brief Biography
Background
Lars Windhorst is a German strategist and investor, specializing in the European financial market. With a long-reaching web of famous friends and connections, which include famous actors, top executives and politicians, he gains widespread media attention.
Business Projects
As an especially inventive teenager, Lars Windhorst began his first international business dealings in 1993 when he started assembling personal computers. While seeking out suppliers for components, he found that he could buy them cheaply by using suppliers in the Far East. From this discovery, he was able to sell his finished computers throughout Europe at competitive prices, earning substantial profits for himself.
Through this first business success, Lars Windhorst started his first two companies, Windhorst Electronics GmbH and Windhorst AG. In working with a Chinese business partner, he continued buying and selling computer parts and electronics. After only one year his company was selling 50M USD and after two years he opened subsidiary offices in both Europe and Asia.
Diversification
In 1996 Lars Windhorst expanded his business network into a diversified conglomerate. Adding a new direction, he delved into the markets of commodities trading and investment, real estate, and finance. As his multinational company expanded, high profits continued to flow into his ever-expanding portfolio.
Towards the year 2000 the international market began leaning towards the quickly emerging Internet market. Lars Windhorst followed the market trend and invested heavily in this new economy. However, his investments suffered heavy losses when the Internet bubble burst.
Personal Credits

As the most famous young German businessman, he was also invited to the Global Leader for Tomorrow at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the youngest participant at that time.
